There’s something special about Sundays. Maybe it’s the slower pace, the quiet hum of the neighborhood, or just knowing a fresh week is right around the corner. Over time, I’ve learned that how I spend my Sunday has a big impact on how my week unfolds- not just in productivity, but in how grounded and energized I feel. Running a company like Losano is more than a full time job. With lots of moving pieces, I have to make sure my routine is on lock to keep those Sunday Scaries at bay.
That’s why I’ve created a Sunday reset routine. It’s not rigid or overly ambitious. It’s more about creating space to move with intention, reflect, and give myself a little head start on what’s ahead. Whether I’m meal prepping in my comfiest Losano set, or swapping mindless scrolling for a few chapters of a good book, this routine helps me feel like I’m responding to life instead of just reacting to it.
Here’s a peek into my Sunday reset, step-by-step.
1. Put on the Uniform: Comfy, Breathable, Ready-for-Anything Clothes
Before I do anything, I start by changing into what I call my “slow-Sunday set .” This is key. When I’m comfortable- truly comfortable- I move more freely, I breathe a little deeper, and I feel more present in my space.
Usually, it’s a pair of soft Losano leggings and one of our Serene Rib tanks or long sleeves. These pieces feel like a second skin but still make me feel pulled together. I want to be able to fold laundry, go for a walk, and settle into the couch without needing a wardrobe change.
2. Meal Prep That Feels Manageable (Not a Chore)
Let’s be honest: the term meal prep can feel overwhelming. But I’ve redefined it for myself. My version is less about batch-cooking every meal and more about setting up small wins for the week.
I start by asking: What will Future Me be grateful for?
For me, that often means:
• Washing and chopping veggies for quick lunches
• Making one big protein (like tofu or lentils)
• Prepping smoothie bags for busy mornings
• Making a nourishing soup or stew I can eat for a couple of days
I put on a playlist or podcast, light a candle, and make the kitchen feel like a space I want to be in. It’s less about perfection, more about progress.
3. Laundry and Outfit Planning: Make it a Ritual
I used to hate doing laundry on Sundays. Now it’s a part of my reset. There’s something meditative about folding clothes, especially when I shift my mindset from “ugh, more laundry” to “this is how I care for myself.”
As I fold, I also start thinking ahead to the week. I’ll pull a few outfits I know I’ll want to wear, especially workout outfits. Laying out my Losano sets in advance (yes, even the sports bra!) makes it 10x more likely I’ll actually get moving.
It sounds small, but picking outfits ahead gives me one less decision to make on a busy morning, and it helps me dress in a way that feels aligned with how I want to show up.
4. Plan My Movement, Not Just My Meetings
We plan work calls, appointments, school drop-offs… but what about movement? I’ve learned that if it’s not on the calendar, it probably won’t happen.
On Sundays, I take five minutes to look at the week ahead and block off time for movement, even if it’s just a 20-minute walk or stretching session. I try to stay realistic. Some weeks are full, others are more open. The goal isn’t to be perfect; it’s to be intentional.
If I’m planning a gym class or at-home workout, I’ll prep the clothes, water bottle, and gear I’ll need, again, setting my future self up for ease.
5. Swap Scrolling for Stillness
Here’s a confession: I love a good Instagram scroll. But I also know it doesn’t always leave me feeling better.
On Sundays, I try to be more mindful. Instead of diving into social media the moment I sit down, I’ll pick up a book, meditate for 5–10 minutes, or just rest without a screen. Some Sundays I write. Others, I just sit with my coffee and daydream a little.
This small shift reminds me that rest doesn’t have to mean zoning out. It can mean tuning in. And when I give myself even a little bit of stillness, I notice I start the week more grounded, less frazzled.
6. Set a Mood for the Week Ahead
Lastly, I take a few moments to create a vibe in my space. That might mean tidying up my nightstand, putting fresh sheets on the bed, or diffusing essential oils while I listen to a calming playlist.
This isn’t about aesthetics, it’s about creating a space that feels nourishing. One that supports who I want to be this week: present, focused, relaxed, and a little inspired.
The Takeaway
Your Sunday reset doesn’t have to look exactly like mine. Maybe yours involves a long bath, a phone call with a friend, or mapping out meals for your kids. The point is to pause, check in, and give yourself a head start, not from a place of pressure, but from love.
And yes, doing it in clothes that breathe with you, move with you, and support your day? That helps, too.
At Losano, we believe your clothes should work with your life, not against it. Whether you’re meal-prepping, meditating, or doing a Sunday reset podcast, your wardrobe should feel like a soft reminder: you’ve got this.
Here’s to resetting with intention, comfort, and care.
