You’ve probably seen terms like “low impact” and “sustainable” a hundred times — and we get it, they’ve been thrown around so often they’ve almost lost their meaning. At Losano, we believe in cutting through the noise with transparency. Here’s exactly what matters to us when we choose our materials:
Low Impact
To us, low impact means that the creation of a fabric should leave as light a footprint on the planet as possible. That might mean using existing resources (like plastic bottles that would otherwise end up in landfills) or ensuring that natural materials are harvested responsibly, preserving biodiversity and natural beauty for the long haul.
Ethically Made
Who made your clothes - and under what conditions? We ask the hard questions:
- Was the fabric made using forced or child labor?
- Were workers exposed to harmful toxic chemicals?
- Were they paid unfairly for their work?
If the answer isn’t a clear and resounding “no” to all of the above, we walk away. At Losano, we partner only with highly accredited factories, both locally and internationally, to ensure fair wages, safe working conditions, and a truly ethical supply chain.
Safe for Your Skin
This is a big one for us. Every fabric that touches your body should be free from harmful chemicals - period.
